The real footballer's wife
We caught up with Leanne Breckin, the wife of professional footballer Ian Breckin - Captain for Nottingham Forest.
The couple kicked off life together eleven years ago. They have now been married three and a half years and have a two year old son, Kian.
Ian Breckin, a vastly experienced central defender, began his career, at the age of sixteen, at his home-town club of Rotherham. He was eighteen when he left and joined Chesterfield.
For five seasons he made his presence felt and helped them win at Wembley in the Auto Windscreen final, which was the highlight of his career.
Ian decided the time was right for a move across the Pennines to Wigan. It was during his three years at the club that he was a key figure in securing two promotions, the second of which took them to the premiership.
He is now the captain at Nottingham Forest but throughout his career Ian has always maintained his roots and his home in Rotherham.
Leanne and Ian’s home is nothing less than a sanctuary. A blissful little haven away from the stresses and strains of 21st Century living, its warm vibe envelopes you the minute you step across the threshold.

To keep that clean uncluttered look in the kitchen/dining area. Lisa advised on the Plantation shutters, so creating a wonderful New England feel. Both Leanne and Ian were delighted with the result. Shutters available in white, pearl, cream and four shades of wood.
Their home has been treated to soft natural coloured walls, a blend of French classic and contemporary style furnishing, carefully arranged, create a calm, romantic atmosphere, of which, form a timeless look to each room.
“It really feels like home, after an hour with Lisa I Knew I trusted her to turn our house into a home.” Says Leanne. Good design is in the detail, Leanne and Ian’s home is a testament to this.
